If you need or would like to submit information anonymously, UCPD utlizes the tip411 alert system. Alert UCPD about crimes, suspicious activity or traffic incidents on UC Berkeley property by sending us an anonymous text message.
This service facilitates an anonymous two-way text message conversation between you and UCPD officers. The system removes all identifying information before the police department can see it, so there is no way to identify the sender.
Please note: This is not a substitute to calling 911. If you have an emergency, call 911. The tip411 system is not always monitored 24/7.
