COVID 19 Notice

Due to the ongoing community spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) we must take extra steps to protect our staff, visitors, and the community. At this time, we are limiting the number of appointments available to make accommodations to adhere to social distancing policies.  If you are scheduled for a live scan appointment and have experienced any of the following in the past 14 days: fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose or sneezing, please do not come in for your appointment. Reschedule at least 14 days from the date of your current appointment. If you arrive at the Police Department exhibiting any of the above signs, the live scan technician has the discretion to cancel the appointment.
We are limiting the number of people in our lobby for social distancing. Please do not bring children with you to your appointment. Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early or late for your appointment. Late arrivals will be cancelled. Please have all required documents completed before arrival. CUSTOMERS MUST WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN THE BUILDING.

Why is this policy in place?

To protect the campus community and its assets, the University needs to ensure that individuals assigned to certain campus positions have no history of criminal behavior relevant to their employment.

The only UCPD entrance currently accessible to the general public is the basement entrance on the south side of Sproul (facing Bancroft Avenue).
